Illusion - Delusion

Tomorrow is an eclipse and the lunar new year. which I don't know if anyone is questioning the uptick on the Lunar new year.... "the fire horse." Everyone is posting and making a huge deal about this transition. It happens every year: the Asian culture has celebrated this for centuries, and now there is a huge push to follow the Chinese zodiac and the representations of what it brings??? What the what?

The world is changing, and oh boy, the marketing world is still the same in taking advantage of a cultural traditions. I have never seen anything in stores geared towards the Lunar New Year till this year. I am not complaining, it's about time there be acknowledgment of other cultures' celebration, but being respectful.

The Lunar New Year represents the celebration of Spring from the Lunisolar calendar. Many cultures still follow this calendar in keeping their traditions.

Following the Moon cycles is an ancient trade. The Moon has been and continues to be its own calendar of transitions. Along with seasons, planetary movements.. you know, like Mercury retrograde or Summer Solstice... it's nothing new. Just how many more people become aware of it and how it is shared through our media lens.

I have not followed the Lunar New Year because it was never really in my face till this year. I am all about honoring the culture and history of what it represents. What bothers me is marketing it as a spiritual uprising. Content I have seen is crazy about having sessions of "clearing your snake", or "10 things to do before stepping into the fire horse". This is not spiritual nor healing work, this is marketing content.

I see between the lines. Do you?

In my minds eye the veil we perceived in the separation from the physical realm to the spirit realm is gone.  I can follow along and see how the energy of what it represents, but I'm not aligned with it.

So when I see the big awareness of this Lunar New Year rise from the Snake to the Horse..its change. The change of movement & momentum we are desiring and craving as a collective. The old stories and paradigms no longer hold. The old white man and their sneaky lies have all cracked; they are no longer hidden. The veil of illusion/delusion is a real thing. As humans, we have needed something to tell us what we are experiencing or what is going to happen. We have the Moon and its cycles in showing us the ebb & flow of energy being played out from outside of ourselves to within. Why are we looking outside of ourselves?

Stepping back and seeing the world play its games and people playing along with them. We all do it, but are we aware of jumping on the train just because everybody else is? Are we truly seeing what is being perceived? Like the Lunar New Year. Are we respecting the origins, the culture, or creating another idealism from it? Do you see a pattern?
