Awaken the Witch

Halloween is apparently the time when the "witches" come out. Well, it's every season, but Spring, oh, you take my heart. The Rebirth of life, the start of creation, and what is to come, that is when a Witch comes alive. Well, me at least.

The Equinoxes' and Solstices are seasonal transitions; Spring brings the beginning of life. I saw daffodils bloom, and here in PNW that is just a bit early. However, it makes sense in some weird way that the concept of time is speeding up; so why not our plants?? Or is that just me? I can feel it in the air and in my body. My body feels this change and is asking for a ritual.

The art of Rituals is what you want to alchemize into reality, whether it's death, reform, or rebirth. It is a sacred form of connection with the self and __________. (You can fill the blank in) In this energy transition, "THE RITUAL" itself is calling for my transformation.

Rituals might not be your thing, but this energy is no longer calling; it will force you to grasp your inner knowing, which was veiled. Ritual can offer space to explore energy and get to know yourself beyond the veil. Embodying your Higher Self in your Earthly body.

I pulled a couple of cards to show what this energy represents

The Roots

Think of a seed and its first sprout. Expanding out towards water, & nutrients to soak up. Over time, the root system spreads, making a beautiful pattern; protecting the core (egg yolk), the most sensitive part. Worms, bones, mushroom weave, and tangle along the roots, deeper they go.

This is a vision of birth - growth - death all in one frame. The energy of our Soul has carried lifetimes of wisdom (good & bad); nevertheless, it is wisdom! From this we grow. Much like the tree this root system is showing, this is our subconscious/ the veil. Above ground, we have mushrooms, which the dirt below is so enriched from all the organic matter support life above and below. Like the full circle of life. That centerpiece shows the protection coming from the roots, set like a heart in a chest. Protecting our peace, our boundaries, healthy patterns, learning from our past, and growing from them. Those skulls at the bottom represent our past; there is no need to receive nutrients because they are "bone dry", but it is stable ground.

Watering can

What comes forward in this card is balance, flow, current, receive, give, the watering can overflowing, and still taking on water. The leaves and the vines are creating this pattern around the can and giving water. It's like they are taking care of the can, when the watering can represents taking care of the plants. The bee. He makes this card stand out in its message of community. I heard a quote about a bee, and then I pulled this card. ""According to all aerodynamic laws, the bumblebee cannot fly...but ignoring these laws, the bee flies anyway." Peter Dinklage

That seemed to bridge the message coming forward from both cards. We might see one aspect of something, or perceive it in a way that is attached to "old" beliefs. If we can step back to see the bigger picture. From that we have learned was the old way, we can see the picture clearly, but we did not look within. That bee didn't follow a law; it had its own knowing, its own trust. That bee also does not seek pollen just for itself; it takes what it needs, spreads the pollen to grow more flowers, and brings the pollen back to its colony.

Both of these cards share a message of one's well-being. Are we grounded...like our roots (boundaries, habits, heart) locked in but able to sprawl out slowly. We are growing, so we need to cultivate what we will support our body/soul from our roots to our heart. Do we have support around us? Are we open to seeing a bigger picture?

How can we support, but in a healthy, manageable way?

That reflects on how we move through the next 30-60 days. How are you stabilizing your surroundings as you transition through?

Keep in mind, Tuesday, March 3rd, we have a Full Moon Lunar Eclipse in Virgo. I see eclipses as portals; we will be coming out from the Solar Eclipse last month. It was in Aquarius, so think Air, whimsical to coming out grounded. Virgo is an Earth sign; no coincidence that the above cards were pulled. Virgo is the Virgin, pure, mature, accountable, responsible. Regarding itself as a higher purpose of knowing, they are powerful in their intellect.

As above all the planets, stars, moon, and sun are moving for us to make changes, we need to match that energy shift. Being aware of the discomfort is showing us where we are out of alignment. Like a Love note from the Universe, giving us space like a Ritual to go deeper within.
